MY OWN PRIVATE ALASKA is a musical project of a visceral emergency, vital. Out of all rules.
A human adventure in which, me Alexis Arickx alias Kert at the executive production, Matthieu Miegeville alias Milka at the singing, Tristan Mocquet at the piano, and Yohan Hennequin at the drums, have invested everything.
Everything we had. Everything we were. Everything we could put into it. And more.
I dedicate this exceptional and uncompromising musical production, result of a Franco-American relationship between Toulouse and Los Angeles, to my older sister Stéphanie Arickx, who lived until her 29th birthday in San Francisco, as well as to every member of my family.

If there was an unfair middle ground between Danny Elfman, Neurosis, Helmet, Chopin, Nick Cave and Will Haven, he’d probably be on an iceberg in Alaska.
